Preparation for the Theory test can be done in your spare time.
I can tell you, in acouple of minutes, if you will pass by using an ipad app'. Advice will be given, if necessary, to achive a pass.

Practical Test (no smiling in the waiting room)
The practical test is most often taken in the driving school car and only when the Instructor assesses you as Test competent.

You will only pass the practical test if you can leave all street furnature standing, no substantial damage to other road users and without help from your instructor. Your instructor could be helping you (without your awareness) giving a false perception of ability.
A first time pass can be achieved with proper management and a structured approach.
